Alain Georges Lietbouo
Country Coordinator (National Coordinator)

He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and has over ten years of experience in communication and journalism. He has developed strong expertise in strategic communication, environmental advocacy, information management, and team coordination, contributing to ACDEF’s institutional visibility and stakeholder engagement in ecosystem protection and community participation.

He also holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Agricultural Business Management from IHEDREA in Paris. With significant experience in agropastoral training, he supports rural producers in adopting economically viable, socially inclusive, and environmentally sustainable practices. His dual expertise in communication and agricultural management strengthens his leadership and strategic vision in advancing ACDEF Cameroon’s conservation and sustainable development initiatives.

Edouard Aimé Pouachiyouen
Regional Technical Dairector

He is an Agricultural Engineer specialized in Animal Production from the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences (FASA), University of Dschang, Cameroon. He also holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management with a dual specialization in Ecology and Biodiversity Management from the University of Montpellier, France.

He leads consultations in the Dja Biosphere Reserve aimed at establishing community partnerships for wildlife and biodiversity conservation. In this role, he oversees the implementation of the CCMA approach developed by ACDEF Cameroon and its partners, ensuring the effective engagement of local communities and Indigenous peoples in biodiversity management and conservation mechanisms.

GBETKOM LOUIS JACKSON
Administrative and Financial Director

He is a dynamic and versatile professional holding a degree in Accounting and Finance. He has solid experience in business management and institutional relations, acquired over several years. Currently serving as Administrative and Finance Director at ACDEF Cameroon, he supervises all administrative and financial operations, ensures budget compliance, oversees accounting monitoring, and manages the financial resources of projects. He actively contributes to strengthening internal governance, promoting financial transparency, and ensuring the sustainability of the organization’s conservation and sustainable development initiatives.

He has significant experience in agropastoral training, supporting rural producers in adopting economically viable, socially inclusive, and environmentally sustainable practices. His expertise in agricultural business management strengthens ACDEF Cameroon’s administrative and financial governance while contributing to the organization’s conservation and sustainable development initiatives.

Gracia Roberto BAKINA
Administrative and Financial Assistant

He ensures the administrative and financial management of the organization, contributing to the smooth implementation of projects and compliance with internal procedures. In addition to his core responsibilities, he provides cross-cutting support to communication activities and knowledge management, actively participating in the structuring, documentation, and sharing of institutional knowledge within the institution. He holds a degree in Business Management, is trained as a sociologist, and is also a graduate in Peace and Development Studies. His multidisciplinary background combines administrative rigor, a strong understanding of social dynamics, and sensitivity to issues related to sustainable development and peace.

NJIKAM PECHO
Program Manager – Biodiversity, Remote Sensing, and GIS

He is a Water, Forestry and Wildlife Engineer graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Dschang. He specializes in land use planning and sustainable land management, forest management, and biodiversity conservation.

His expertise includes the development and implementation of wildlife management plans, the use of GIS and mapping tools for decision-making, socio-economic analysis, and close collaboration with Local Steering and Support Committees.

Within ACDEF Cameroon, he has held several key positions, including GIS and Mapping Officer and Project Manager for biodiversity conservation. He contributed to the implementation of the CCMA (Community Conservation and Management Area) approach, the development of community partnerships in the Dja Biosphere Reserve, and the preparation of CCMA management plans, supporting participatory and sustainable natural resource governance in the Dja landscape.

Dr NGON SANI BERTILLE
Community Health Project Officer

She is a pharmacist and public health specialist, currently pursuing a Postgraduate University Diploma in Geo-epidemiology. She combines expertise in community health, sexual and reproductive health, and the control of infectious diseases, including emerging and re-emerging diseases.

Trained in data science, spatial analysis, and epidemiological modeling, she uses data to support evidence-based project planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Her approach is grounded in a One Health framework, integrating the interactions between human, animal, and environmental health, particularly in contexts characterized by strong population–ecosystem dynamics.

With experience in fieldwork and collaboration with local communities, she contributes to integrated and sustainable interventions tailored to local realities.

Christiane Lylliane Elomo
Program Manager – Community Mobilization and Social Inclusion

She currently works in the Dja landscape, where she supports community mobilization, gender integration, and social inclusion initiatives. She contributes to the establishment and operationalization of local governance platforms (CCGP/CGP) through awareness-raising and community consultations based on the principle of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC).

She brings strong expertise in facilitation, field coordination, and the promotion of inclusive and sustainable governance that respects sociocultural realities. She is particularly committed to gender equality, the participation of Indigenous peoples, and culturally sensitive approaches to conservation and development.

Throughout her career, she has coordinated several conservation and community development projects with the NGO ERuDeF across key landscapes in Cameroon, including Deng Deng, Lobéké, and Dschang. She has led initiatives focused on sustainable natural resource management, community socio-economic planning, income-generating activities, capacity building for community groups, and landscape restoration through agroforestry.

MOANDJIM-ME-BOCK Charles
Program Officer – Biodiversity, Remote Sensing, and GIS

He is a Rural Engineering Engineer and holds a Master’s degree (Master II) in Environmental Sciences Engineering from the University of Padua. He specializes in participatory mapping and in the collection, processing, and analysis of environmental data.

His background combines strong scientific training with expertise in decision-support tools that support land-use planning, sustainable natural resource management, and community-based initiatives.

With seven years of professional experience, including two years in Environmental and Social Assessments and five years dedicated to biodiversity conservation and environmental protection within ACDEF in the Dja landscape, he has developed strong field-based expertise. His direct engagement with ecosystems and local communities has reinforced his commitment to environmental protection and to promoting sustainable, inclusive solutions grounded in local participation.

Njikam Manoutpoun Issofa
Program Officer – Community Mobilization, Gender, and Social Inclusion

He holds a Master’s degree in the History of International Relations and has completed specialized trainings in community mobilization, facilitation, community engagement, and first aid. His profile combines strong social analysis, field coordination, and participatory management of development initiatives.

Since 2021, he has been responsible for the operational implementation of community mobilization, inclusion, and participation activities within the Dja landscape. In addition to these responsibilities, he supports the coordination of branch-level operations, contributing to effective engagement with local communities and the successful delivery of field-based programs.

WELAWAPECK Léa Audrey Cynthia
Program Officer – Community Mobilization, Gender, and Inclusion

She is an Agricultural Engineering Technician specialized in Crop Production. In 2023, she joined ACDEF Cameroon as an intern, contributing to the implementation of community partnerships for the conservation of the Dja Biosphere Reserve. Her work included drafting project documents, developing business plans for social enterprises, and preparing agricultural technical guidelines.

In 2024, she was appointed Focal Point of the Northern Branch of the Dja Biosphere Reserve (DBR), where she oversees the establishment and monitoring of three community fields focused on cassava and plantain production. Through her work, she supports sustainable agricultural practices and community-based climate-smart initiatives in the Dja landscape.

TEUGUEZONG TESSA Ulrich Gialbert
Technical Assistant – Biodiversity and GIS

He is a Forestry and Wildlife Engineer and holds a research Master’s degree (MSc) in Integrated Management of Forest and Natural Resources from the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences (FASA), University of Dschang. His academic background has enabled him to develop strong expertise in sustainable natural resource management, community forestry, reforestation, biodiversity conservation, as well as in remote sensing and GIS for conservation planning and monitoring.

Professionally, he has contributed to several conservation initiatives, including the RIOFAC project (Strengthening and Institutionalization of the Central African Forest Observatory), funded by the European Union. During this project, he conducted an inventory of eucalyptus plantations in Northern Cameroon, strengthening forest monitoring and data management efforts.

Hardworking and motivated, he is particularly interested in sustainable forest management, environmental governance, and sustainable development. Through his work, he contributes to advancing high-impact ecosystem conservation initiatives at both national and international levels.

Alain roger Ngignidihou
Operational Technical Assistant

He is a Senior Veterinary Nurse trained at the National Center for Zootechnical and Veterinary Training (CNFZV) in Maroua, a qualification that strengthens his expertise in animal health and production.

He joined ACDEF Cameroon in 2024 as support staff, actively participating in field activities related to conservation and community development projects. In 2025, he was appointed Focal Point in charge of animal production, where he plays a key role in the implementation and monitoring of livestock activities within the Dja landscape.
